Tamara Pavlovic
I am a contemporary Sydney based artist, originally from Belgrade, Serbia. My practice explores human condition and subconscious whilst employing personal histories, and memories. Encompassing a wide range of media such as painting, mixed media and collage, my motivation comes from a combination of self discovery, the process of making and creating, and also new ways of self expression.
Graduating with Master of Fine Art at UNSW Art & Design in 2019, I won the Works on Paper Prize in 2020 at Blackstone Gallery Newcastle and have been a finalist in many art awards such as Fisher’s Ghost Art Award, Blacktown Art Prize, Hunter’s Hill Art Prize, and Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Award to name a few. I have exhibited solo and group internationally and throughout Australia.
